About
I'm Karla — originally from Peru, now teaching movement, breath, dance, and languages to people around the world. This is how I got here.
Dance has been woven into my soul for as long as I can remember. But at eight years old, everything changed when I watched an Indian film that sparked a fire in my heart. I fell deeply in love with Bollywood dance and Indian culture — it was like discovering a missing piece of myself.
Life had bigger plans for me. I traveled to China to study Mandarin and complete my Master's degree, and there I discovered another passion: teaching. But I never stopped dancing. In China, I performed at cultural events, danced for Indian community celebrations, shared Latin rhythms with friends and audiences, and finally fulfilled my lifelong dream — I traveled to India and took authentic Bollywood classes in the land where it all began.
My journey as a teacher started when life unexpectedly led me to seek a job in a foreign country. After facing 18 job interviews, I was often rejected due to the color of my skin. Finally, in the 19th interview, I got my first job at a training center. This opportunity opened doors for me, allowing me to change jobs a year later for something much better.
As the pandemic hit, I transitioned to online teaching and began offering private tutoring for children from Chinese schools. I also taught Spanish to business professionals and kids. Eventually, I had the chance to work at a kindergarten, where I specialized in teaching young children. Finally, I took the leap to create my own platform and began teaching online.
Now, as I travel the world, I'm bringing everything I've learned to you — online. I offer classes in Bollywood, Latin Zumba, Afro Dance, Reggaeton, and my special offering: holistic dance combined with breathwork, where movement becomes meditation. I also teach Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and English.
Mission
My mission is simple: to help you expand your world, awaken your consciousness, and discover yourself through the universal languages of dance and words.
What I believe
Your body holds wisdom. Dance and breathwork aren't exercises — they're conversations with yourself. Every session is a chance to listen, release, and return home.
Speaking a new language isn't just a skill — it's a doorway. It changed my life from Peru to China to India and beyond. It can change yours too.
There's no right body, no right age, no right background. If you show up, you belong here. That's the only requirement.
Pick the path that calls to you.
